Hi everyone. I’d like to submit a feature request.
As someone who uses Mockaroo to generate mock data, I’d like if freeform notes could be added to schemas, so that I could document important things that are not revealed by my choice of fields, format, and so on. After writing some notes and saving the schema, I would expect the notes to appear whenever the schema is loaded in the future. I would expect to be able to edit the notes and re-save the schema at any point in the future. I would not expect the notes to affect the output data at all. Instead, I would expect the notes to simply appear for my own reference whenever the schema is loaded. If this Notes section supported Markdown formatting, that would be even better.
Some background: I’ve been doing some post-processing on data that is exported by Mockaroo. This Notes section would be a great place for me to record the set of post-processing steps that need to be undertaken after the data is exported.
